This service is designed for clients who have a specific, significant problem such as denial of chemotherapy, large unanticipated medical bills or inability to obtain preauthorization for a medically necessary service. Healthcare Navigation will represent the client at appeal hearings, analyze/negotiate large medical bills, or undertake other work, as appropriate.

Healthcare Navigation is philosophically committed to helping clients avoid healthcare coverage disputes. Unfortunately, disputes are not always avoidable and we believe that the individual or family should have access to professional representation. After all, in a significant dispute, a great deal of money can be at stake and other parties to a dispute, namely insurance companies, hospitals or other providers, will be well represented.

Our objective is to resolve disputes in a practical manner. Litigation is costly and should almost always be viewed as a last resort. If during our review, it appears likely that a change in coverage or enhanced coverage will help avoid future disputes for a client or family, we will make that recommendation to the client.
