An in-depth discussion with our HN professional to hear your concerns and determine if your existing plans are providing you and your family members with sufficient coverage to give you the protection and peace of mind you deserve. We discuss both your current and future situation. We also review the optional support services that are available through HN.
A review is typically requested when someone in the family may require extensive medical services as a result of a recent diagnosis or trauma.
Extended family members also request healthcare coverage reviews for an elderly parent(s) or adult child to better understand existing coverage and the circumstances which might result in a large medical bill not covered by insurance.
The following questions or issues are relevant in deciding whether a Healthcare Coverage Review is warranted:
- What is the lifetime maximum of the plan and/or is there a maximum per condition?
- What other benefits like prescription drugs or therapies have significant limitations or caps?
- If I receive services outside of my plan’s network, how much might I be charged?
- What types of penalties might result from not following the plans pre-authorization requirements?
- My retiree coverage is costing more and covering less, is it worth keeping?
- I frequently travel outside the United States. Do I have adequate travel insurance protection?
- When will Medicare cover a nursing home stay?
- Will Medicare cover any services if my mother needs help at home?
